Episode 31
In this week's episode of Atypical Daydream, host Josh Caldwell sits down with Karthik Nagarajan.
Karthik grew up in Pune, India in the 1990s, five minutes from the Rajneesh ashram made famous by the Netflix documentary Wild Wild Country, with a French best friend from the commune next door and a father who had very different ideas about what success should look like. He shares how he discovered himself in a country on the edge of globalization, what brought him to the United States, and what he found when he got there. His journey took him from a dishwasher shift in upstate New York to Texas to the San Francisco startup scene, and every stop along the way taught him something about how people see each other and how often they get it wrong.
