For this edition, we've once again put together a selection of artists whose music has been on our radar lately. The compilation brings together different approaches to slower music, moving between warm and laid-back moments, deeper grooves and tracks made for the dancefloor. We always enjoy showing how many different directions this genre can take while still feeling connected tot he sound.

Stellson & Špii have made a bouncy remix of Fermee. Groovy percussion, a slightly cheesy lead and a crunchy bassline give this new version its own playful character. The drop hits just as hard as you’d expect from Stellson & Špii and brings a fresh dose of energy to the original. The whole track moves between playful grooves and proper dancefloor pressure. 💭 In this scene, some artists are almost inseparably linked to the sound of Downtempo. iorie and bawab are two of those unique characters who have shaped the genre with their very own signature over the years. Their musical paths have crossed more than once in the past, and whenever these two creative minds come together, you can be sure something special is about to happen.

🎵 Down to the Beat is a proper Downtempo banger that combines all the key elements of our beloved subgenre. It’s groovy, knarzy and playful, driven by a rounded low end, colorful melodies and catchy vocal chops that slowly find their way into your mind. Everything moves with just the right amount of pressure while still leaving enough space for all those little details to unfold. Heute haben wir ein taufrisches Recording direkt vom zurückliegenden Mit Dir Festival für euch. CAMI lässt uns noch einmal durch diesen heißen Sommertag tanzen. Man kann die Mühle förmlich vor sich sehen und die nebelgeschwängerte Luft beinahe auf der Zunge schmecken. Fröhliche Gesichter, ausgelassene Rufe und die warme Sonne auf der Haut, genau so lieben wir unseren Festivalsommer.

💿 Eine Reise durch Jahrzehnte 💿

🪶 Federkern blickt auf eine musikalische Reise zurück, die lange vor der heutigen Clubszene und -kultur begann. Von ersten Erfahrungen am Keyboard über Commodore 64 und Atari ST 1040, geprägt von Darkwave, Punk und Breakbeat, führte der Weg irgendwann zu Techno und damit zu einer Liebe, die bis heute anhält 🤝

🎶 Die Sets und der Sound von Federkern orientieren sich heute weniger an Genres als an Emotionen und Wahrnehmung. Deep Electro, psychedelischer House und progressiver Techno verschmelzen dabei zu einer ganz eigenen Erzählung voller Wärme, Gefühl und Träumerei. Ein Set wie der Nachhall einer langen Nacht und die unbeschwerte Stimmung kurz vor dem Morgengrauen.

Our next EP, "Feeling Great", is another very special release for us, as it was written by two of our closest friends, Überhaupt & Außerdem.

The opening track, "Feel In", combines a deep house vibe with warm vocals that bring back a nostalgic feeling. The release is rounded off by a reinterpretation from Kyong Sono, who adds his own distinctive touch to the original.

The second track, "It's Going Great", comes in the familiar signature sound of Überhaupt & Außerdem. Esmaeili gives the track a more club-driven twist with his remix, making it a perfect addition to the release.

We're really happy with how this EP turned out and hope you'll enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
