Kate calls herself an accidental writer as she's authored 2 books. She loves to cook and chronicle life’s moments with her iPhone. She's been married to Mike for 37 years and is mom to Grammy-winning recording artist Francesca Battistelli as well as Mimi to Franny’s five children. Before giving her life to God, she acted and sang in the New York Broadway musical theatre world, touring for nearly three years in the Broadway National Tour of The King and I playing Anna opposite Yul Brynner as the King. 

She's the author of the bestseller The God Dare, published in June by Barbour Publishing and Growing Great Kids: Partner With God to Cultivate His Purpose in Your Child’s Life, published by Charisma House.
