I follow the news of the beer industry fairly closely (well, probably closer than most beer geeks do). I've been reading content by today's guest - Kate Bernot - for a while (Washington Post, Good Beer Hunting, Imbibe Magazine, etc). I recently joined the North American Guild of Beer Writers and realized she was the director.
