Kate Knows About the Opposite of Anxiety

Dr. Kate Dow joins me to share her knowledge about life with anxiety. She knows about anxiety not only because of her work as a counsellor and a psychologist but because she had her own experiences with severe anxiety after the birth of her children. She went on to become an advocate for other women and she reaches out to leaders and entrepreneurs who are experiencing overwhelm and want to prevent burn out. I loved this conversation so much. We touched on the importance of sleep, the healing power of creativity and self care, the role of technology plays in contributing to anxiety and many other important topics. It was a lovely conversation! As Kate says, “Anxiety keeps you in the place where you already are,” but the great news is, you don’t have to stay there.

Kate has a PHD in Counseling Psychology and she is a Certified EMDR practitioner and Kundalini Yoga Certified Instructor (and that’s just some of it). She is the author of the book Fear-Less: The Art of Using Anxiety to Your Advantage.
