In this episode, Jeff sits down with Katelynn Knick and Virginia Sitzes about their new artist

collective called The Art Group and how it got started. We hear from both of them about their personal and professional reasons for being a part of it and how this experience has changed their lives.

Art Group is a collective of emerging artists in the OKC metro area who have gathered to create a community centered around discussing and creating contemporary art. Their goal is to help artists develop their artwork, build the needed skills for continuing their practice, and share resources to establish sustainable careers as artists. So far, they have 32 members and have organized 4 studio visits, 4 monthly meetings, and 3 individual shows.

Their Group Show is the first multi-artist exhibition organized by the collective. The event will be hosted by Skyline Ink in their newly renovated location. The event will feature an exhibition, art market, food, and bands. The event is free and open to the public.
