After moving across the country, I found myself realizing I had to start making friends... And I had to do it quickly. But how can you make friends with people who you hardly know, or who you've hardly been given the chance to talk to? Whenever we meet someone new, questions often stick strictly to "How are you?" and "Where are you from?" So how can we get outside of those habits and build real bonds with people?
On this week's episode of Katelyn's Chronicles, I invited 5 strangers to my dorm room to play a game I swear by - We're Not Really Strangers. We're Not Really Strangers (WNRS) has become increasingly popular over the past couple of years with the game's presence on social media and text messaging service that poses questions that are hard to ask, and even harder to answer.
To buy the game, including the expansion pack played in this episode, go to werenotreallystrangers.com or visit their Instagram @werenotreallystrangers.

Hi friends!!
On this weeks episode of Katelyn's Chronicles I am coming to you from the comfort of my new home on my college campus. <3 On this episode, I talk a little bit about major differences I've noticed so far here in comparison to my home. I also talk a little bit about fitting in, finding your place at your own pace, and more. All in all, I'm so excited for the opportunity I have before me to do things I never could have done back home like blueberry picking and seeing huge mountains.

That's right, on this fabulous Friday we have a LONG OVERDUE episode of Katelyn's Chronicles. I am so glad to be back. :) Today, we just are gonna talk a little bit about living in resilience, letting go, and moving on! We also talk a little about people who unbeknownst to them, have made lasting impacts on our life, and where they may be now. You know, just normal I'm-moving-away-to-college-and-am-over-analyzing-everything things :)

To kick off pride month, in this episode I talk about my journey with coming out and personal expression. Who do you tell first when you're coming out? How do you RE-come out? And later, we talk about my stupid coworker 💔 The male Karen we all love to hate. Seriously.

For someone so anxious and indecisive, choosing to move to a place I've never even visited, across the country from everything I know and love has not been super straightforward. Who'd have thought? Not me, that's for sure. But the choices have been made and now there's no turning back, so surely everything's gonna be perfect... right?

As soon as I turned 18, much like other people my age, I went and bought a lottery ticket and downloaded Tinder... but I didn't think I would go onto Tinder and get into a relationship, I just thought it was funny. And it was! But, it also got me to thinking... Is there ettiquite on Tinder? Are other people my age dating to find the person they want to be with forever? Am I doing this shit wrong? Are college relationships even worth it?

Senior year - typically a time to be thinking about prom, graduation, and where you'll be going to college. Unfortunately, with all those things either taken away or drastically changed this year seniors are left with one big question: What now? What do you do when everything as you know it is different, and you don't know what to expect?
