Over the past 2 decades Katharine has committed to advanced certifications in Acupressure, Aromatherapy, Chakra balancing, Newborn Massage and Yoga for children. Her undergraduate thesis on Color Therapy and the Chakra energy system provides the underpinnings for her recent book “Grandmother Moon and Roy G. Biv” A Colorful Bedtime Story for All Ages: Explore the Amazing Secrets of Color. This is the first in a series of imagination and educational books for children and parents as the means to identify stress and then incorporate natures’ remedies.
Katharine indicates that she is a perpetual student of living and living well…
She possesses the best of both worlds, Eastern and Western Medicine, with her advanced knowledge as an RN and a Masters of Science in Natural Health. Katharine is the past recipient of the Charlotte Maguire National Scholarship Award from the American Holistic Nurses’ Association. Jokingly, she adds that she is a symbolic fairy godmother with a book as her wand and an L.L. Bean jacket as her cape.
Katharine’s second book in the Grandmother Moon series has been published. “Seeing without Seeing” -The challenges of ADHD based on her graduate thesis Vibrational Medicine and ADHD.
