This week on the Aging Today podcast, I interviewed Katharine Esty, Ph.D., from Eightysomethings. Katharine describes healthy grieving in these pandemic times. After reaching that 80-year milestone in her own life, Katharine quickly discovered she couldn’t find a single self-help book written for people in their eighth decade, or a user-friendly guide for their children. Someone needed to explain what life was really like for octogenarians and how to relate effectively to them. So, Katherine set out to write a book, EightySomething, and one of the topics she deals with is something we all struggle with — grief. Katherine sheds new light on grieving for those suffering loss during the pandemic. AgingToday.us
