Katherine was born into a family that immediately didn't give her the attention she needed. Neglecting her from the day she was brought into this world, then handing her off to her Aunt, her godmother. And instead of things getting better, they got worse, ending up with her in a bunker built for her. Katherine Beers was able to walk away from this situation, and still to this day makes the best of what happened to her, even thinking about it like it almost saved her.
