Kathryn Hobson died on March 2, 2026, in Rhinebeck.  Born in Poughkeepsie on January 16, 1944, she is remembered for her kindness, dedication, warmth, and unwavering support of her family and friends. She was, above all, a wife, mother, sister, and “Mema.” Kathryn delighted in 63+ years with her favorite person on Earth, her husband, Jim. As a mother, she fiercely protected her “chickens.’’ As a sister, she’d loyally provide support at the drop of a hat.
