Katie Adams is a musical theatre star who has gotten to be in some of the most popular shows to date. Adams got the chance to join the National Tour of Grease where she played Marty. Growing up, Grease was one of her all time favorite films to watch, and she hoped that one day she would be able to bring the beloved story to life, and she did just that. Getting to recite some of Marty's iconic lines was something that has been one of the highlights of her career. Additionally, Adams got to participate in both the national tour and Broadway companies of Wicked. While on tour she was in the ensemble, and understudied the role of Glinda. (She toured with Stephanie J. Block and Sebastian Arcelus; musical theatre nerds, you KNOW how magical watching those two on stage are) Then after a year on the road, Adams joined the Broadway company of the hit musical as the Glinda standby. In fact one of her Elphaba's in NYC was Eden Espinosa (featured on season 2). Besides these two musical hits, Adams was also featured in Urinetown where she potrayed Soupy Sue. Now, Adams is part of the musical theatre faculty at AMDA where she is currently teaching the next generation of Broadway household names.
