Katie Steele from Towcester Community Larder Gold Award winners of Local Food Hero sponsored by Moulton College. Established in January 2021, they are passionately led with an ethos that food poverty must not stand. Their work with Silverstone Circuits to rescue food that would be wasted, with their ambition to highlight rural food poverty was commended. Their membership programme provides access to groceries at heavily discounted rates. Rescuing across a number of businesses and outlets about 100 tonnes of food this year. www.towfood.org.uk
