Katy Hall is an edit producer, and as we learn there is a lot more to the job than popping clips on a timeline in a logical order and then sending the results to the transmission department.   In fact, this conversation only skims the surface of how vast an industry broadcasting is. It's a fascinating insight into the levels of process required in order to jump through the hoops to satisfy the various stakeholders involved with getting a show to air.
