This week, Ally and Jamie sit down with Los Angeles based alt-pop artist Kaya Stewart. Tune in to hear Kaya chat about her album If Things Go South, her award-winning short film, what it was like growing up in the industry and more!
About Kaya:
Born in London but raised in Los Angeles, Kaya Stewart grew up surrounded by music and began writing songs at the age of 6. By her early teens, Stewart had found her place in Los Angeles’ live music scene, sneaking into shows and establishing herself as a performer in her own right.
After releasing her self-titled debut album in 2016, Stewart toured non-stop across the U.S., including performing dates on the Warped Tour where she was the youngest female artist to participate in the iconic touring festival. With the heart of your favorite nineties alt songstress, the guts of a tried-and-true punk, and a whole lot of sass all her own, she formally introduces herself on her sophomore LP, If Things Go South.
