*SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 27TH, 2026*

*THE POWER OF UTTERANCE*

*"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*
*— Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)*
*Words are one of the most powerful things in creation. This is why the ability to speak is one of the greatest gifts God has given humanity. Our mouths were not created only to eat and drink; they were also given to speak and influence the direction of our lives.*
*Words carry great power, and the spiritual realm recognizes this. This is one reason the enemy may use negative dreams or thoughts—to make people speak negative words about their lives. When we continually speak those negative things, we may begin to believe them and allow them to influence our lives.*
*Jesus said in Matthew 12:36–37:*
*“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”*
*This shows us that our words are important. We are responsible for what we say because our words can bring either positive or negative consequences.*
*The Bible also shows us that creation responds to words. Some people may find this difficult to understand, but we see several examples in Scripture.*
*In Mark 11:13–14, Jesus spoke to a fig tree that had no fruit. He said:*
*“No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever.”*
*Jesus spoke to the tree, and His disciples heard Him. Throughout Scripture, we see people speaking to things in creation. Jesus spoke to storms, sicknesses, trees, and other situations. Moses spoke to a rock, Joshua commanded the sun, and Ezekiel prophesied to dry bones.*
*Even in Genesis 1, we see God creating the heavens and the earth through His spoken Word. God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.*
*Therefore, as believers, we must learn to speak God's Word over our lives and circumstances. Instead of constantly speaking fear, failure, sickness, or defeat, we should speak what God has said concerning us.*
*When we declare God's Word in faith, we are agreeing with what God has already spoken. The Holy Spirit works through God's Word to bring His purposes to pass.*
*Mark 16:20 says:*
*“And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”*
*This teaches us that God works with His Word and confirms it with results.*
*So, we must be careful about what comes out of our mouths. Let us continually speak God's Word, speak faith, speak hope, and speak life.*
*Do not allow negative situations to control your confession. Instead, let God's Word control what you say.*
*Keep speaking the Word of God. Keep speaking faith. Keep speaking life. As you do, trust the Holy Spirit to work with the Word you declare.*
*Hallelujah!*

*Heavenly Father, thank You for granting me the gift of speech. I declare that my mouth is continuously filled with Your Word. I speak Your truth into every situation daily, and as I do, I witness the manifestation of Your divine results, in Jesus' name. Amen.*

*"Therefore, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith." — Hebrews 12:1–2 [1]*
*The biblical directive is unambiguous: optimal spiritual progress requires the removal of unnecessary burdens. To run effectively, one must first deliberately divest. Many believers attempt to navigate their divinely appointed purpose while carrying emotional, mental, or spiritual baggage that was never intended for the journey. To succeed, these weights must be surrendered, and alignment with God must take absolute priority. It is vital to recognize that these impediments do not always manifest as overt sin.* *Frequently, they present as modern distractions, unhealthy attachments, habitual comparisons, or even inherently positive pursuits that are simply out of alignment with God's timing. Any burden, regardless of its perceived insignificance, becomes a critical liability when it compromises spiritual momentum. Left unchecked, even hidden encumbrances will eventually disrupt progress.*
*Confronting this reality requires rigorous self-examination: Which habitual behaviors are currently diluting your focus?*
*Which interpersonal dynamics are diverting you from your core purpose? Which unaddressed faults are impeding your spiritual advancement?*
*Scripture offers a definitive resolution: cast these burdens aside. This process demands deliberate, intentional action. In return, it yields the profound freedom necessary to live with resilience, strength, and clarity. Ultimately, a lighter operational load ensures greater long-term endurance.*
*Furthermore, believers are instructed not only on what to relinquish but also on where to direct their focus: toward Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. He is not merely the initiator of your journey; He is the ultimate guarantor who will sustain you across the finish line.*

*PRAYERS/CONFESSIONS*
*Heavenly Father, grant us the grace to surrender every burden and impediment that compromises our spiritual momentum. Endow us with the discernment to identify subtle distractions, the courage to release them, and the unwavering faith to keep our focus entirely on Jesus. Strengthen our endurance so that we may fully complete the course You have designed for us. Amen.*

*INTERCESSORY PRAYER: We pray for our ministry today, asking that the mighty hand of God rest upon us continuously. May the Lord cause an unprecedented multitude of souls to flock into the church, drawing men and women into His kingdom in Jesus' name. Amen.*

*A LIFESTYLE OF PRAYER (PART 2)*
*"Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]." James 5:16
*Prayer is a vital tool for fulfilling your personal, ministry, or corporate vision because it provides clarity. When we pray, God speaks to us and communicates His will clearly. If a vision is still unclear, we must return to prayer for a deeper revelation. Ultimately, our true strength is found in the place of prayer.Beyond our routine prayers, we must avoid praying only when an emergency arises. If you do not have a daily prayer plan, you will only pray in response to problems, which is unhealthy. Instead, we must pray strategically to stay ahead of the enemy.Here are three ways to continue building a strong culture of prayer:Connect with people who pray: Spend time with friends who believe deeply in prayer. Prayer is contagious, and their habit will rub off on you. For example, a praying leader creates praying followers. Just as people recognized that the disciples had been with Jesus, the people you spend time with will always influence your life.Pray with a sermon or music: Playing spiritual music or messages can greatly help your prayer life, especially during your formative years. Listening to messages that stir your heart helps your spirit connect quickly with God. Once that connection happens, prayer becomes effortless because you are praying through the energy of the Holy Spirit rather than human effort. Human energy is limited, leading to sleepiness and exhaustion, but the Spirit sustains you.Pray with deep desire: Without genuine desire, your prayers will lack focus and power. Mark 11:24 teaches that whatever you desire when you pray, believe you receive it, and you will have it. Desire fuels fervency, drives out weakness, and keeps you praying until you receive peace in your spirit. When you pray with desire, you do not stop when you are tired; you only stop when you are finished.In conclusion, remember that prayer births new things and produces supernatural results in your life. Glory to God!*

*Lord God, thank You for teaching me how to build a prayer culture. I ask for the grace to develop a consistent and faithful prayer life, in Jesus' name. Amen.*

*SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH, 2026*

*THE TOUCH OF THE HOLYGHOST*

*And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.". Acts 4:31(KJV)

*The Pretext of the above text is a story of how Peter and John, the disciples of Jesus healed a crippled man at the gate of the temple called beautiful. Immediately after the miracle, Peter preached the gospel and about 5000 men were saved. When the Priest, the captain of the temple and the Sadducees heard this, they arrested them, flogged them and commanded them not to speak anymore in the name of Jesus. However, Peter and John broke this news to the disciples and when the heard it, they lifted up their voice to God and prayed. While praying, the Holy Ghost touched them and they continued, preaching the gospel with boldness. Hallelujah! The threat Peter and John received was to stop them from preaching the gospel, but when the Holy Ghost touched them, they couldn't help but preach. These were men who had already received the Holy Ghost but needed His touch on their lives for them to be able to continue in ministry. Every one of us need the active touch of the Holy Ghost to live a successful Christian life. Without the touch, we can't go far in our walk with and work for the Lord. There are some things that gets activated in your life when the Holy Ghost touch you.*
*1) You will find yourself loving the word: This happens when you start desiring to know more by studying, reading and listening to the word with great hunger.*
*2) Sermon will no longer be a burden anymore. There are people who come to church and like every other session but prayer and word session. When prayer or word time sets in, they sleep.*
*3) Worship takes on a different dimension: When the Holy Ghost touch you, you will start connecting in your heart with worship. Every lyrics will mean so much to you.*
*4) A new hunger for His presence. This will become your daily heart cry; Just to be in His presence worshipping.*
*5) Excitement to serve God. Lack of excitement in service to God is a sign that you have not been touched. When the Holy Ghost touches you, excitement is ignited in service.*
*6) Desire to win souls, pray and give for the kingdom is generated. These and more are traits of a Christian who has been touched by the Holy Ghost. It is a burning fire, when it comes on you, it spreads. Those around you will feel the heat of the touch of the HolyGhost. When we spend quality time in prayers, worship, the word and in fellowship with other holy brethren, the Holy Ghost will move and seat on us like He did with the disciples in the upper room. Hallelujah! It's time to seek the Lord, it is time to carry certain fire that will change our world, it's time to allow the HolyGhost touch us so He can use us. Glory to God!*

*Dear Father, I declare that I receive the touch of the HolyGhost in my life for a life of victory, fruitfulness and abundance in Jesus name.*

*SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 20TH, 2026*

*UNDERSTANDING YOUR TRUE GAIN*
*"Peter answered him, "We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?" — Matthew 19:27*
*It is interesting to know that having a transactional mindset among believers is not something new. Jesus addressed this attitude during His time on earth.*
*A rich young man once came to Jesus and asked what good thing he needed to do to receive eternal life.* *Jesus eventually told him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell everything you have and give the money to the poor. Then come and follow Me.”*
*When Peter heard this, he felt that he and the other disciples had already done what Jesus required. They had left everything to follow Him, even though it was not easy.*
*Jesus then gave them a message of hope. He explained that those who follow Him would receive blessings in this present life and also receive an inheritance in the life to come.*
*However, God's rewards are not based on a business-like exchange, as if we are doing something for God simply so that He will pay us back. Although the Bible says that “a worker is worthy of his wages,” the rewards of God's Kingdom are much greater than anything we could earn through our efforts.*
*When we truly understand this, we realize that whatever we give up or accomplish for God cannot compare with what we gain in Him.*
*As Paul wrote in Philippians 3:8:*
*“I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake, I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ.”*
*In other words, everything we have and everything we achieve is small compared to knowing Christ.*
*Our greatest reward is not what God can give us. Our greatest reward is Christ Himself.*

*Dear Lord, please grant me the grace to see the world through the eyes of love for You and for humanity. I commit to living for Your divine purpose rather than personal gain. In Jesus' name, Amen.*
