A Covenant Member shares her story with the church about her struggle with addiction, participating in Christ's mission as a parent, and how she uses her passion for running to help those on the margins of society. 

The "word of renewal" is a portion of the Sunday Gathering that gives an opportunity for women and men to share and teach for the sake of building up (1 Cor. 14:26; cf. Col. 3:16; Rom. 12:6-7). The teaching is testimonial, instructional, devotional, or missional in nature. It’s a story or word about how God is renewing one’s life, speaking through his word, or calling one to join in the mission.
