In God's economy surrendered treasure will always result in more than what we had! If we're not careful, rather than owning stuff, our stuff will own us. We must ask ourselves, "What is my greatest treasure?" Is it Christ? We must check our hearts. Material blessings are not necessarily bad. But whatever we treasure most owns our heart and with privilege comes responsibility.
