KEEP IN FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD

Sunday 1st May 2022 ~ First service

John 14:19-24....  He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”...

It's one thing to have God's commandments and another thing to keep them. 

 Your obedience to His commandments causes Him to manifest Himself to you. This is proof of your love.

John related so much with Jesus that he was referred to as the most loved apostle. Your love for Him determines the secretes He can reveal to you (John 13:27-28).

Mark 3:13-14 And He went up on the mountain and called to [Him] those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him. Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,

Jesus' first call to disciples was to be with Him before He could send them to minister.

God has done His part of being with us, the remaining work is for us to draw close to Him so that we catch up with His heart, Spirit, Character, etc through fellowshipping with Him.

It is from this place of fellowship where we exchange that which is of humanity with that which is of God Daniel 11:32.

Mark 9:28-29 And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, "Why could we not cast it out?" So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting."

Certain dimensions in God require deeper, private fellowship with Him. 

So your public failure requires you to go for a private inquiry. That is where Jesus reveals to you secrets and strategies that make your life different John 1:31.

Song of Solomon 5:1-8 ... I sleep, but my heart is awake; [It is] the voice of my beloved! He knocks, [saying,] " Open for me, my sister, my love, My dove, my perfect one; For my head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night." I have taken off my robe; How can I put it on [again?] I have washed my feet; How can I defile them?...

 Our generation loves comfort and pleasure so much that most people are not willing to pay the price of knowing Jesus. 

The miracles, anointing, and breakthroughs can be there but when the Master is absent. 

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever

That is why God gave us the Holy Spirit to reside in the inside of us to help us dig a deeper fellowship with the Father and His character. 

John 15:1-8... Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every [branch] that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit....

You can be in Jesus and fail to produce fruits (His character). You can never bear fruits unless you are connected and the connection comes from the place of Fellowship. 

One of the primary responsibilities of the Holy Spirit is to help you develop the character of God by bearing many fruits John 15:8.
