There is nothing new about "fake news."  People have found it difficult to "keep it real" long before the modern era of photoshop and social media manipulation. A legitimate complaint about Christianity is that there are so many frauds, fakes, and hypocrites out there taking advantage of people in the name of religion.  This chapter of Hebrews pulls no punches, knocking out the difference between getting real with God/others and keeping it fake through outward conformity to rules and rituals.
