Jesus is our Savior and our Healer.  Our three main enemies are the world (cosmos), the flesh, and the devil (adj).  Looking with a fixed gaze upon the world will take a terrible upon one's spiritual life.  The world offers distractions and amusement but it does not offer life.  Only by looking upon Jesus will be powerful enought to overcome the myriad challenges of the cosmos.
