Jesus Christ teaches Christians to be ready when He comes to take His faithful church out from the earth. So the emphasis of Christ is to be “a faithful servant” to Him and “doing” what the Holy Bible instruct us to do, to get our souls right with God and be ready and stay ready in our waiting for the rapture

Luke 12:42-43 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his Lord shall make ruler over His household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when He cometh shall find so doing.

God revealed to the Apostle John that He will not allow anyone into the “new Heaven, earth and Jerusalem.” But only they that gets with His program. And how do Christians get with His program? By “doing” what the Holy Bible instructs. Because the Holy Bible is our instruction manual, showing how to enter Heaven according to God’s standards, terms and conditions

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

The Holy Bible gives us holy instructions to stay saved, to stay right with God. In fact, the Lord through His word gives us boundaries of blessings or curses. Salvation or our own way. Heaven or Hell. And Jude does emphasizes this very truth in “doing,” meaning to learn and applying instructions of the word of God to our relationship with Christ daily

Opening Scripture: Jude :20-21 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

There’s no where in the Holy Bible that teaches, “Once your saved, you cannot lose your salvation,” nor does it teach that, “God’s love is unconditional.” This is why Jude emphasizes a vitally important instruction to all Christians to stay in the love of God with all urgency. Because the will of the flesh, the influences of the world, and the temptations of satan will try to get you off the narrow way that leads to eternal life (Matthew 7:13-14).

If God’s love is unconditional, then why does the Old and New Testament instructs us to Keep in the Love of God. Abiding and continuing in the Love of God (John 15:7-10). And Jesus Christ is the love of God (1 Corinthians 13). As Christians, we are to be one spirit, one flesh, bone and body with our Lord Jesus (Ephesian 5). As the branch is in the True Vine (John 15:1-12).

Getting With The Program

The Holy Bible gives us instruction to get with God’s program through Jesus Christ! And since the Holy Bible instructs to “do” what God instructs, that’s how we get with His program. Doing the program is how we stay in the program in order to be saved.

  • Believe in Jesus Christ (John 3:15-18)
  • Confession of Christ is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10)
  • Separation of the world, the sinful deeds of the flesh, influence of the devil (John 3:19-21)
  • These are His boundaries, and anyone who does not get with the program will miss Heaven. And these are the common ways to Hell both sinner and Christian, Jew and Gentile

    • God has already condemned those who do not believe in Jesus Christ (John 3:18)
    • God and Jesus Christ will judge every idle word both sinners and Christians (Matthew 12:36-37)
    • God and Jesus Christ will judge your works both sinners and Christians (Matthew 25:31-46)
    • The Holy Bible also instructs Christians to make our call and election sure. Sure to make Heaven home, not, “I might” or “by the skin of our teeth.” A warning of instruction: To follow the Lord or follow the compromising; corrupt; apostate wisdom of men and their false teachings

Jude :4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Following the Lord and His instructions from the heart makes your call and election sure

2 Peter 1:3-10 According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Christians need to diligently make our calling and election sure. Because we don’t know when the rapture will take place, or the end of our lives shall be. The next day or the next hour is not guaranteed. Not one sin or sinner will enter Heaven. Neither shall the lazy or fearful servant (Matthew 25:14-30), only the faithful and wise servant who loves the Lord and keeps His commandments.

For if we do these things, we shall never fall! It is possible to always stay right with God and walking with Jesus Christ. You don’t have to sin and fall short of the glory of God. The word of God will always show what is right. We just need to understand it.

And the Holy Ghost is given to them that sought Him in order to understand the Holy Bible. Because all Scripture are spiritually discerned. And without the Holy Ghost, people only have a carnal understanding of the Holy Bible.

Keep Yourselves In The Love of God

Keeping ourselves in the love of God is our own responsibility while abiding in Christ. Christianity is more than just believing. It’s doing what the word of God instructs. That is one of His perfect will for all His children. We are to keep His commandments. What does the word “Keep” mean? There is so many synonyms that gives us a clear definition on the usage of the word in the Holy Bible.

Keep: ‘To observe (see and hear; heed; hearken; obey). To retain (learn), To fulfill (heed; do).’

John 14:15 If ye love Me, keep My commandments.

1 John 2:3-6 And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in Him. But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him. He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.

Deuteronomy 11:22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to cleave unto Him.

This is the condition for many of God’s blessing throughout the Holy Bible. All God’s blessing are conditional, which means, if you truly love the Lord and continue in His love and His love be perfected in you and want to be blessed, we need to diligently keep His commandments (meaning plural, not just one). And love Him with all our heart and walk in all His ways. Because when you read on, many blessings are written after this condition is met.

      Minister The Gospel

Jude’s last important instruction to all Christians through the Holy Ghost, instructs us to bring others to Christ by two methods of the truth and of the Holy Ghost

Jude :22-23 And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

You may have heard from various ministers to have compassion on all. NO. As the Scripture says, “Of some have compassion.” Not everyone is going to respond to compassion when explaining the Gospel. Only some will. Even Jesus Christ did not have compassion on all. He was moved with compassion by the Holy Ghost. And not to everyone.

So to other’s, “save with fear, pulling them out of the fire.” Since not everyone’s going to respond with your compassion, there are others that will respond with a fearful message of absolute truth in explaining the Gospel. This is why we have the Book of Revelation. It shows us of things coming upon the whole earth to those who rejects Jesus Christ.

God’s not willing that any should perish, but that all should comes to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and be saved from hell on earth to come after the rapture, and from Hell and the eternal Lake of Fire. We are to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all urgency by these means of truth through the Holy Spirit of God.
