The oppression of the poor is an injustice God takes very seriously. In this passage, James warns the rich who are cheating their workers out of due pay that they will be severely judged. As Christians, we need to be sure we are always treating people with equity and respect. The believer above all should be showing the example of what loving others and treating people fairly looks like.
