After barley escaping a domestic violence situation that left her with a traumatic brain injury, she ended up in federal prison for a non violent drug charge. 5 years ago she was painting murals as a federal inmate, now she's launched an environmentally friendly clothing brand based on her art that is sold in stores. She works as an activist to expose the industrial prison system and how the suffering of the American people is a trillion dollar industry.
