On this week's episode of Property Hustlers Ping and Andrew sit down and talk about what you should know before going to a real estate seminar.

If you are just starting to look into the Canadian real estate market and real estate investing in Ontario going to a real estate seminar would be very beneficial for you and help you decide is getting into real estate worth it. However there are things you should know as someone starting in real estate about these seminars before attending because there are disadvantages of real estate seminars.

Real estate seminars for beginners are great because they teach you the basics of getting into real estate and real estate investment strategies, such as creating joint venture partnership. These seminars will help you figure out how to get into real estate investing and decide is real estate for me. Real estate seminars are also real estate networking events, giving you the opportunity to meet and talk to a lot of other people. By talking to the right people you could find yourself real estate mentors or a real estate investing coach. You do have to be careful when choosing a real estate coach as some of them are just interested in selling you fluff, but if you manage to find the right one they will help you achieve your real estate goals!

On this week's episode Ping and Andrew discuss the differences and benefits between real estate education and university education.

Is university a waste of time is a question we have all probably asked ourselves, even should I go to university? Most people who graduate from university do not use their degrees and if you ask anyone who is making money in real estate they would most likely tell you that they wish they would have started sooner. Those who have more of an entrepreneur mindset should consider how to get into real estate investing or how to get started in real estate versus going to university. As someone who is starting in real estate, real estate mentors can help educate you on real estate investment strategies and guide you in the right direction. If you are still wondering is real estate for me then attending a real estate seminar would be beneficial for your learning experience. As someone who is getting into real estate attending seminars and real estate networking events would help expand your knowledge. Attending these events may even lead you to finding yourself a real estate coach who can help you reach your real estate goals. There are benefits of going to university but that doesn't make it right for everyone and there is a difference between having education and going to university.

The Property Hustlers tackle the question of whether or not you should be investing more money in the acquisition process or investing in the renovation process.

For people just getting into real estate and are looking to invest in their first real estate property the first question you should consider is do you invest in a property with a minimal renovation budget or a property that was less expensive but needs more renovations. Investing in the Hamilton real estate market you would spend more on a property but less on the budget, than moving to St. Catharines real estate you would spend less on the property but put more funds into the budget, and if you went even further to the Windsor real estate market you could spend even less on the property leaving you with more money for renovations. You also have to take into consideration how much to save for down payment on house.

If you are still wondering if should I invest in real estate then you might want to consider doing single family home investing because you wouldn't spend as much money on renovations there then you would with multifamily real estate investing or duplex investing. Opportunities are everywhere and you can easily achieve your real estate goals by using strategies like the BRRRR strategy, in no time you will see the cash flow in real estate and will stop wondering should I invest in real estate.

If you're going to do a no money down mortgage and don't know how to make money in real estate you can seek out real estate partnerships or joint venture partnerships.

Our first no money down investment was in the St. Catharines real estate market, we found a private lender that was willing to lend us 90% loan to value. Whether you are doing loans or joint venture real estate partnerships you have to pay attention to your cash flow assets. Real estate cash flow can be good or bad so you have to know how does real estate work so you don't have to question how to buy your first house.

Let's talk about limiting beliefs, have you ever found yourself wondering how to get started in real estate but are too afraid to kick start getting into real estate? One of the major hurdles is the "I don't have money" aspect. You don't need to have a lot of money in order to get into real estate, are you questioning yourself asking what is an easy way to make money? The answer is real estate, you can be making money in real estate easily and can even look into remote real estate as an option. 

Now the big question is going to be how to get into real estate investing? You don't need to start off having a boatload of money to start investing, asking for a loan from the bank is your best option moving forward.
