Meanwhile, when I left, it felt like early spring, and now it feels like midsummer! The kids are done with school, too, so we are tasting the freedom of long, hot afternoons and cooling salmon pink dusks. We’ve started camping out with the sheep who are lambing—a long-held dream of mine—at a homestead we are leasing west of town. So next week I am sure will feature sheep again! Lamb time is the best time of the year.
