On today’s show, I speak with my guest Arundhati Baitmangalkar about the business of yoga. And while I’m sure, you (like me), didn’t start out to become a business owner when you did your fist ytt, you’ve now realised that a business is exactly what you have.
Right now, many teachers are realising for the first time that they are truly sole traders, and that our security and stability relies on us, as individuals creating a business around our teaching. Which is why I’m pumped to bring you this conversation with Arundhati.
Arundhati has been teaching for over 14 years and is the founder and lead teacher at Aham Yoga. She’s labeled as one of the top 20 POC yoga teachers to watch out for by Yogawalla. Her yoga school – online and at our Redmond location has been recognized over the years as a hub for all things yoga. Her mission is to make yoga accessible, and practical for our modern-day lifestyles. She does this by teaching others how to become yoga teachers, introducing newbies to yoga, leading yoga classes, workshops, and retreats.
Since Aham Yoga has a global audience, she’s also on YouTube and blogs to educate more people about yoga.
