Keifer Yu is one of Claremont’s favourite sons. The Kimberley product carved out a WAFL career for himself via Broome and then boarding school in Perth.
He played exactly 100 games for the Tigers and kicked 43 goals, but his league career was cut short by a series of head injuries, the effects of which continue to impact his life.
Now Keifer is leaving a legacy on the game by bravely speaking out one of its biggest issues.
Now a Cable Beach player again in 2022, Keifer opens up about his battle with the physical and emotional toll of repeated concussions, what it could mean for the rest of his life, and dealing with racism in football.
