Our Master and Lord, Creator and Savior, have our life in the hands of the Potter, making us by His will in only the best way possible. Are we satisfied? Can we be content with His will for us? Acceptance has eternal possibilities for us.

While we usually find that newer is better, a new life with God is always best. But we have to move beyond the old, sinful self, and put on Christ, the new man, where holiness exists, looking forward to the place prepared for us.

Many times this question comes as a matter of disbelief or as a test of divinity. This has been the case for 2,000 years. Apparently, it's quite a mystery for many - those who maintain disbelief of God and His Word, and who do not believe in the consequences of unbelief. God shares His will with us and is convincing of His grace for us and His promises are true.

While the familiarity of the symbol of a cross has for those who have a religious understanding, it does have a disagreeable apathy for some. But the Gospel is clear regarding the immense good it brings to all of us and the price paid for all of us who are undeserving.

There is no denying the causes of sorrow or bitterness. Hard times come and we must face them, but we don't have to be alone or endure without help. We have reasons to turn sorrow to rejoicing and fulfillment when we are found with a Savior in our life. We have that Savior for a pathway to God and there is nothing but happiness and life found in Him.

While we may think of the story of the prophet Jonah as something we remember from childhood, the value of its lessons and implications are invaluable. To live according to God's will in our life, huge success is only waiting on our action. Consider the consequences of our failure to act.

There is no end to the practice and teaching of thankfulness in scripture. The apostle Paul describes his thankfulness at every time he thought of someone. There are ample opportunities to always let God know of our thankfulness to Him for the blessing of life and all it is enriched with, centered in the love we have from God and all we need to have for each other.

Maybe the 'If' we rationalize as only possible, but not likely. Or do we believe the certainty of God's promise that there will be a last day, a day when Jesus returns, a day that only God knows, but a time when this world ends and our spirit is given an eternal destination in heaven or hell. If you're not ready today...

Whether you have not answered God's call or you have and have left "your first love," then you are in need of a change and there's no better time than now. We must repent, change our life, beliefs, behavior, and become what God wills us to be by His teaching.

God has called us. He has called everyone, invited to a home with Him, lasting an eternity. But you must remain separated from the world to be enjoined with the Savior Jesus Christ. You must refrain from mediocrity to stand up and stand out from the world to be in the glory of God.
