Kelly Smith recently completed her Honours thesis on the genetic diversity / makeup of the Mornington Peninsula koala population. The results of this preliminary research provide valuable insights into the health and ancestry of the Mornington Peninsula koalas.
Kelly is continuing her research at the Westernport Biosphere by running the Koala Awareness Program (HERE).
