The recent election highlighted several challenges for the Democratic Party, particularly with candidate Kamala Harris struggling to maintain voter turnout in key areas like Michigan’s Wayne and Oakland counties and around Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. White voters made up 71% of the electorate, with 55% supporting Donald Trump, while Harris secured 86% of the Black vote.
