Ken Michal has never won an ultra and he surely won’t be pushing the pace from the front this weekend at HURT 100.  He has DNFed dozens of races, finished a lot more, has been chased by cutoffs, spent a night–midrace–in an outhouse and swallowed a bee at an aid station.  Ken also has arguably the best attitude of any runner on the trails, is coached by the legendary Ann Trason, and is now in the best shape of his life.

If Ken doesn’t make you smile, I don’t know what will. All Day!
