Kendall Johnson is a professional soccer player and creator of Arrow Living. She talks to me about growing up in Portland, going to her hometown school and playing professionally in-front of her biggest fan every game at Providence Park. We discuss her ACL injury, how she got through that fairly smoothly and what it took for her to realize showing and letting go of emotions was a good thing. We go into the hardest part of her career as she was sidelined for over a year due to concussions and how letting go let things open up.

Carrie Lawrence was at the top of her game this off-season. After a different journey into NWSL, she not only became a regular with the Orlando Pride, but she recently signed a multi year extension deal to stay with the club. In preseason, Carrie tore her ACL again for the 2nd time. She is now into her rehab process about 5 weeks and speaks to me about the challenges she is facing, how she gets through the highs and lows, and how she is expectant that the journey will help her have a different perspective when she makes it back on the pitch.
