Starting at the very beginning of receiving the emergency call, notifying all the personnel required and the mare arriving at the hospital. Who does what job and how do we delegate tasks? Big takeaway: salary is still an issue despite a seemingly positive spin on salary increase. Burn out, fatigue and mistrust still plague our ranks. Her story makes a beautiful full circle as she has finally gotten out of her own way and made it to her goal of starting some instruction in the veterinary technology space.
