Kentucky basketball is going to close out the season strongly.

On today's episode of Locked On Kentucky, Lance Dawe explains why he believes the Kentucky Wildcats are going to close out the season strongly. John Calipari may have finally gotten his team to play actual defense. Ugonna Onyenso has proven to be an anchor defensively for two games now - if he, alongside the rest of the team, can keep it up, they will win most if not all of their games to close out the regular season. Players like Onyenso and Adou Thiero have really stepped up while Tre Mitchell has been out. Thiero may need a lot more time at the four, with Reed Sheppard, Rob Dillingham and Antonio Reeves running the rest of the lineup.

Speaking of the end of the regular season, where is Kentucky basketball in Bracketology? The Wildcats have risen to a No. 5 seed and have the ability to rise as high as a No. 3 seed if they win out.
