Kentucky basketball throttles Marshall 118-82 in best scoring output of John Calipari era

Kentucky basketball just put up a Rupp Arena record in their victory against Marshall. On today's episode of Locked On Kentucky, Lance Dawe recaps the Kentucky Wildcats' 118-82 win over the Marshall Thundering Herd. John Calipari's squad put up 118 points - the most of the Cal era - in a startling offensive effort. These Wildcats have some serious upside. If they can put things together on the defensive end of the floor... this could be a very special team. DJ Wagner led the way with a career-best 28 points. He's starting to round into form after a very slow start to the season. Rob Dillingham, Reed Sheppard and Antonio Reeves all also had monster games. The backcourt is as loaded as maybe it has ever been at UK. The team can't keep shooting as efficiently as they are, but the upside the team has shown early in the year is very telling as to what they're capable of. Getting one big man back (looking at you, Aaron Bradshaw) would make this team a serious problem for some very good teams. Whether or not they can keep this offense rolling against Miami is a huge question.
