The 2024 Ohio Corn Yield Contest and Wheat Yield Contest winners have the secrets to high yields!

Every year we have a competition between the growers in Ohio to see who can get the highest yields. This year, Corey Farrens and Kent Edwards topped out the corn and wheat categories. We caught up with our wheat yield contest winners to see if they could shed some light on how they got those numbers up so high. Hear how the winners did it on this episode of Kernels!

This year the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Associaiton honored U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown and U.S. Representative Max Miller with the Guardian of Ohio Corn & Wheat award!

The Guardian of Ohio Corn & Wheat award is a recognition given to elected officials that have gone above and beyond for Ohio's grain producers. It's not given every year, in fact it is not normally given.
