Kevin Abosch is an Irish conceptual artist known for his work in photography, sculpture, installation, film and blockchain technology. On »ZKM Day« he reported on his artistic work in the exhibition »Open Codes«. In addition to his photographic works, he plays especially with the blockchain [digital data chain] as a stylistic means. The aim of his works is to critically illuminate the social value of art and the individual and to question why we attach value to things.

Kevin Abosch ist ein irischer Konzeptkünstler, der für seine Arbeiten in den Bereichen Fotografie, Skulptur, Installation, Film und Blockchain-Technologie bekannt ist. Am »ZKM Tag« berichtete er in der Ausstellung »Open Codes« über seine künstlerische Arbeit. Neben seinen fotografischen Werken spielt er insbesondere mit der Blockchain als stilistischem Mittel. Ziel seiner Arbeiten ist es, die gesellschaftliche Wertbestimmung von Kunst und Individuum kritisch zu beleuchten und zu hinterfragen, warum wir Dingen einen Wert zumessen.
