Kevin Chao went from getting a degree in city planning to becoming a self-taught fashion design to currently becoming the retail planner for the Whitaker Group.  The Whitaker Group houses the various multi-chain stores under the names; A Ma Maniére, Social Status, APB and the stand-alone store Prosper.  This is an interview that takes a pragmatic look into brand development and what is needed to have staying power in this ever-evolving industry.
