Kevin Cooper, agriculture teacher and FFA advisor at Nevada High School in Iowa, received the Iowa State Education Association’s 2016 Excellence in Education Award. His advice to young teachers: Focus on these three P’s – Passion, Performance and Promotion. Kevin says the support of his students, their parents and the community has contributed to the success of his agricultural education program.
