Vol. 3: The 80's--It's No Fun Being An Illegal Alien Everyone has a story, it's just that some are more interesting than others. Such is the case of Kevin Doyle, owner of the Celtic Ray Public House in Punta Gorda, Florida. Which, is perhaps the oldest Irish pub in the state. The local landmark pub is only part of his story despite it's 24-years on the Gulf Coast. It's not all pints, live entertainment, Fish-N-Chips and friends down at the pub. This is Volume 3 of our conversation where Kevin and I discuss what is an amazing journey. With his 30's ahead of him, a fateful night as a fill-in waiter and enjoying the area on holiday have made him want to stay in America. We'll discuss his first marriage, the arrival of his son Max, working at Disney's Epcot Center when it first opened and the curious and wondering tale that became the 1980's and his floating from job to job, place to place hiding out as an illegal alien in America. Join us as we explore the life and times of Kevin Doyle, Publican.
