The Brooklyn Nets are on a two game winning streak heading into their Wednesday night matchup with Philadelphia, and also received a win off the court. Kevin Durant is progressing in his recovery and with running and on-court activity ramping up, should be near a return when re-evaluated in two weeks. The state of his MCL recovery will determine if Nets fans see him before or after the All-Star break.

Adam then discusses the NBA trade-deadline and names being connected to the Brooklyn Nets. One young impending Free Agent is Minnesota Timberwolves Naz Reid. At just 23 years old this would be a both and option for Sean Marks adding a physical backup for Nic Claxton in both the short and long term. However with the Clippers among a handful of suitors the question will be if the Nets can win a low-level bidding war.

Serge Ibaka, who has ties to Kevin Durant going back to Oklahoma City, has also been mentioned as a possible trade target. Age and injury are among the concerns with the 33 year old veteran, but Adam notes how his skillset would certainly offer the Nets a stretch five many believe they desperately lack.
