To assist those who assist the Kingdom.  That’s my personal life mission statement.   Before pursuing a PhD in Education & Leadership at Biola University, my career has predominantly been in corporate management at Fortune 500 companies.  Investing over a decade in marketing and strategizing for companies that were not Kingdom minded, God placed on my heart to dedicate all my talents, strengths, and resources in impacting those who were serious Kingdom Movers & Shakers.  Hence, I resigned from corporate America in 2009.  

Since then, God’s calling has led me into 2 unique areas for expanded influence on the next generation of leaders.  I’ve served out my passion for leadership development at Saddleback Church & Mariners Church, world renown faith-based, non-profit organization, on the senior executive team for Talent Development & Mobilization.  In addition, I am on the faculty at several Higher Education institutions teaching grad students in Organizational Leadership & People Development.   

Finally, I am a Vietnamese-Texan.  I love both BBQ and Pho! I grew up in Dallas, TX where God’s football team plays.  I love sports, food, and board games. My wife, Hannah, and I have been married since June 2004, and wonderfully blessed with a son in 2010, Khoi Ethan-Josiah Nguyen (I think he’s super cute, like his daddy).  Oh, a baby girl is coming in April 2019.
