Kevin Normand's early life was spent in southern Maine and New Hampshire. He attended Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, AZ, focusing on auto mechanics. Upon graduating, he discovered that the auto industry did not align with his goals, prompting him to secure a position at Robertson's Power & Sports, advancing from an entry-level technician to service manager, GM, and ultimately, owner.
