Kevin Turvey (Rik Mayall) the first YouTuber. By this I mean, the character was doing his own reports about anything in the 1980’s.

Today YouTube is full of people doing reports on everything (like I do a bit) almost in the style of Kevin Turvey. For example one chap does reports on fish and chips on YouTube.

Of course YouTube did not exist, in the 1980’s. But it amuses me that a character from the 1980’s, that was meant to be a looser, is now how many people make thousands.

I so miss Rik Mayall.
