      1. You already have the ONE answer that truly matters.
      2. Understand your job.
        1. Plant and water; that’s it.
          2. Practical Tips for Effective Witnessing
          1. Starting conversations
              1. Be courageous: initiate contact.
              2. Act natural.
              3. Find a connection point.
                1. Listen carefully, and ask “open-ended” questions.
                    1. Explore their interests.
                      1. “Really? That’s interesting. Why do you think that?”
                      2. Engage an idea.
                        1. “Hmm…. I think I get what you’re saying, but can you tell me more about _____?”
                          • Admit agreement (where you can).
                          • “I can see where you are coming from, but do you think there is any other way to look at it? …What might that be?”
                          • “That’s a good point, but can you help me understand _____?”
                          • Evangelize with truth.
                            1. “So, I’ve spent some time thinking about this too. Can I share a thought with you?”
                            2. “Well, I don’t know if I would agree with all of that, but can I share one thing that I do know?”
