KGBEATS

This mix is dedicated to Garry LaCosta, celebrating a beautiful new chapter as they get married , a true New York love story! It’s a reminder that love still finds its way—unexpected, real, and worth celebrating.

This is positive news we all need right now: love, connection, and joy in its simplest form. For that reason, I’m declaring Summer 2026 a true Summer of Love.

The mix brings together deep, sexy house cuts from that golden era of groove—warm baselines, late-night energy, and that unmistakable feeling of dance floor freedom. A no-phone, no-distraction kind of vibe—just music, movement, and presence.

A throwback to the golden days of disco house as club music, this tape rip (Side 1 only :) sent to me from Kyiv out of all places, captures my authentic live vinyl set from Club WAX in Chicago. The mix is packed with the soulful and driving beats that defined the era, heavily influenced by the vibes of the underground and chicago rave parties of the time. Pure, unfiltered house grooves straight from the dance floor— definition of the essence of the club scene at the time...

Adding to kgbeats architecture series, it has a special vintage vibe we dont vibe to very often anymore. Hope you enjoy this selection with your KGBEATS fam.

Themes from the 90s industrial and early Belgian techno are making a resurgence in the 20's! European techno producers are now sampling from the early 90s romantics to captivate audiences with fresh yet familiar sounds. For my generation, the memories of the vibrant Chicago industrial music scene, which birthed the rave culture and expanded our horizons to techno and house, remain vivid and cherished.

For this set, I’ve selected tracks from today that transport me back 30 years to the era of great hope and boundless experimentation in 1992. It’s a time unified by the exhilarating sense that machines were revolutionizing rock and pop music forever. Enjoy this journey through the echoes of the past, revived in the music of today
