There's a saying that I often quote to some of my clients as I help them with self-awareness, that goes like this:
"Your actions speak so loud, they can't hear what you are saying."
Have you ever heard that before?
I find that sometimes some leaders wonder why their people aren't "listening" to them. They are perplexed by it.
However, when you speak with some of the people they are leading or have the leader do a 360-assessment, it becomes apparent why.
The feedback makes it clear that the leader's behavior doesn't match what he or she is saying. It's out of sync.
How then do these leaders change the messaging of their people?
In this episode, our guest - Former Royal Marine Roderic Yapp - discusses 4 behaviors that strong and good leaders have in common. He suggests that if a leader wants to be seen as a good leader, they will adopt these 4 behaviors.
What are they?
Take a listen to find out.
