Khalif Johnson is a business owner, motivational speaker and community activist. He has shared his words at many colleges, universities and organizations, including Monmouth University and Connecticut State Community College. His non-profit organization BYS (Build Your Success) is aimed at reducing recidivism in marginalized communities through financial literacy, substance abuse and mental health recovery to ensure reentry into society, among many other positive things. He was released in late 2023 after being behind bars for 21.5 years.
