The lecture will be chaired by Rohan Silva, Senior Policy Adviser to the Prime Minister. Professor Martin Bean, Vice-Chancellor of the Open University, will respond to Khan's lecture. Salman Khan is the founder and executive director of the Khan Academy, a nonprofit organization on a mission to provide "a free world-class education for anyone anywhere." Khan was listed in Fortune's annual "40 under 40," which recognizes business's hottest rising stars, as well as Fast Company's list of the "100 Most Creative People in Business." Khan was also recently profiled in "60 Minutes," featured on the cover of Forbes, and recognized by Time as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
